About me

My name is Jan Marthedal Rasmussen.

I have a Master's degree in software engineering and a Ph.D. in applied mathematics. I work as a backend engineer at a mid-sized software company.

I enjoy exploring the interplay between theory and practice, continuous and discrete. This is also the main focus of this site.

I live in Denmark with my wife and three children. I am an enthusiastic practitioner of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and I train and teach regularly.
